Company Profile: It is an American multinational technological manufacturer, with corporate headquarters in Singapore and administrative in Silicon Valley, California. It is the third largest global EMS, ODM Company by revenue.
Need for Automation:
For every GL team, month end report validation and the cross inter company reconciliation is the main activity consuming 220 man-hours per month. Also, every hour the updated sheet is uploaded to BPC report – which further will be used by the other team members.
Apart from this, we have Cruscutto reporting - initially prepared by Germany site and later was transitioned to Chennai GBS team. The report requires multiple companies TB and BPC Report, and consolidated TB to be matched with BPC report – which takes around 12 man-hours monthly. Automation of this report would avoid month end pressure and literally free my team members from copy/paste tasks at the same time reducing human-prone errors.
